About

I was born on January 24th, 1980 in Nassau, Bahamas, where my family still lives. I’ve spent the last thirteen years living and working abroad. Of those years, the majority of my time was spent in school. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the Boston University School of Management (Concentration in Management of Information Systems) and a Masters Degree from Georgetown University’s Communications, Culture & Technology graduate program. I started my professional career at a small Internet start-up in Boston doing Search Engine Marketing and SEO. Nowadays, I’m an IT Advisor at a Big Four Accounting Firm and, during the week, my work takes me to clients all over the U.S.. I currently live in San Diego, so when I’m not on the road and I have weekends free, I’m outdoors enjoying the sun. I have a great family and I’m happily married to an incredible woman.

I like to think deeply about things and I try to always entertain my overactive curiosity with an open mind and approach life’s challenges with a healthy amount of optimism. I am an avid reader and I enjoy writing and blogging. I’ve got a wide variety of interests but the ones that are the most enduring are tech and travel. I live my life by the “you get one shot” philosophy and I think that living an effective, happy one is as much about knowing yourself as it is about the choices you make every day. I enjoy spending time with independent-minded people who are smart, honest, and are motivated to make a positive impact on the world. I admire people who tackle life’s toughest problems with courage and creativity, especially those who naturally infect those around them with their passion and enthusiasm.
